About Garry Bentham

Garry Bentham loves to design. He began his residential building design career with architectural technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1965. Garry is married and has three grown children.

Garry is a Certified Residential Designer whose educational qualifications are as diverse as his designs:

• Mechanical-Architectural Drafting, Whitehorse Vocational School (1965)
• Architectural Technology, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (1965-68)
• B.C. Real Estate Assoc. Licensing Course and upgrades, Victoria (1976-2006)
• Certification by the Building Designers Institute of B.C. (2008)
• Certification-Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of B.C. (2008)

Garry has owned his own residential design consulting business for many years and has worked in various capacities in the construction industry. His interests include creating pen and ink drawings from photographs and making wine from fresh fruit.
